Open Enrollment
Begin courses at anytime and study when it best fits your schedule. With the CSU Per-Course/Open Enrollment System there are no predetermined semester or session dates to contend with.

Maximum Transfer Credit
CSU allows maximum transfer credit for your prior academic credit, training, and relevant professional licenses and certifications. Up to 75 percent of undergraduate courses and 50 percent of graduate courses can be transferred into your degree program at CSU.

Self-Paced Programs
Begin courses at anytime and study when it best fits your schedule. At CSU, you can set your own pace for completing a degree program with our Per-Course/Open Enrollment System. Students are allowed 10 weeks to complete each course, but may finish a course in as little as three weeks depending on how quickly you complete the coursework.

Flexible Learning
Forget the days of scheduled online sessions and on-site test taking! At CSU residency is not a requirement and coursework can be completed at times that are most convenient for you. Faculty and staff offer flexible individualized instruction designed to provide each student with the guidance and support necessary for successful course completion.

Evaluation
CSU will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your application and within seven to ten business days we will prepare a detailed evaluation report. This report will outline those courses we have determined you should take and those which we have accepted for transfer credit.

Asynchronous Courses
There are no group projects and courses are totally asynchronous. Study offline anytime and anywhere that works best for you and simply log back on to submit the prepared assignments by the due date.

Military Discounts
All Servicemembers receive an application fee waiver ($25 value). Immediate family receives the waiver and a 10 percent tuition discount.

The accrediting commission of the DETC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). CSU is also licensed by the Department of Postsecondary Education, State of Alabama.

The Board of Certified Safety Professionals recognizes CSU degrees for both the CSP application and for credit towards recertification in the Continuance of Certification program.
