Central Alabama Community College, also referred to as CACC, was established in 1989 by the Alabama State Board of Education. The Alexander City State Junior College and the Nunnelley State Technical College were consolidated to form the Central Alabama Community College. CACC offers classes in the Alexander City Campus, Childersburg Campus, and the Talladega Center. Central Alabama Community College awards associate's degrees in the fields of science, applied science, and occupational technology.
