The University of Alabama, also known as Alabama, UA, or just Bama, is a public coeducational university located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA. It was founded in 1831. The university offers programs of study in over 10 academic divisions leading to bachelors, masters, education specialist, and doctoral degrees. The main campus is spread across an area of more than 900 acres. Alabama is organized into the following school and colleges:
