International
Students
Grand Canyon University is
looking forward to receiving your international application. GCU is a
Christian university with more than 4, 000 full time students, so each
person receives individual attention instead of being lost in a sea of
faces. GCU welcomes a diverse group of students from many language groups.
Each year, they converge on Phoenix, one of the fastest growing cities
in the United States.
Phoenix, the capital of Arizona, is located less than 200 miles from the breathtaking Grand Canyon National
Park, 400 miles from the cool Pacific Ocean and only 150 miles from our
neighboring country, Mexico. The weather is very warm, the skies are bright
blue, and the people are friendly. What could be more perfect?
The International Student
Organization at GCU is made up of both international and American students.
Through this organization, students set up a network of friends for life.
They encourage each other, plan events on campus, organize outings off
campus, help each other with school work, share understanding about the
US and its citizens, and teach others about their countries.
