Residence Halls

Our university offers five air-conditioned residence halls for male and female students.   In addition, there are 50 two-bedroom houses and 140 mobile homes in Indian Village on campus.   Apartment complex is now available to graduate students and undergraduates with advanced class standing. An additional 200 unit apartment is now ready for occupancy.   The houses and mobile homes are designed to offer affordable, comfortable, and accessible living accommodations to the students and their families.   Houses are reserved for students with families.   Applications for residence halls, apartments and family housing should be made to the Office of Residence Life.

We have a diverse student population at ASU. With nearly 247 students from 63 different countries, the international community is an important element of ASU.



Student Computing Resources




Arkansas State University provides state-of-the-art Information Technology (IT) resources and support.

Whether registering for classes, viewing your grades, browsing the Internet for sources of information, taking an online course, or just checking your electronic mail, you will find that technology is integrated into nearly every facet of university life. You will find the need and the desire to use computers and other IT resources throughout your university life.


Arkansas State's Athletic Program

United States Universities, Colleges and SchoolsArkansas State University fields 15 sports seven for men and eight for women at the NCAA's highest level - Division I. ASU's football program competes in Division I-A. ASU administrators added women's soccer in 2000, making it eight women's sports and seven men's sports competing at the NCAA's highest level.

Athletes from Arkansas State University have won Olympic medals, participated in Super Bowls, claimed national championships, competed in the leagues of professional sports, set world records and brought national and international acclaim to ASU and the state of Arkansas.

ASU's total sports program is strong and balanced as proven by winning the Commissioner's Cup of the Sun Belt Conference in 1998, the coveted symbol of the best overall athletic program by a league school. ASU also won the cup in 1995.
