Ouachita Baptist University, often abbreviated as OBU, is a private, co-educational university located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, United States. It was established on September 6, 1886 as Ouachita College. Later, in 1965, the college expanded its curriculum and was renamed as Ouachita Baptist University.
