Study at University of Central Arkansas


University of Central Arkansas, a state-run institution, was established in 1907 as the Arkansas State Normal School. It is located in the city of Conway. By terms of Enrolment, it is the second largest university in the state of Arkansas and third largest college system in the entire state. The university offers Enrolment to more than 10, 000 students every year. The University of Central Arkansas is well known for its programs in education, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. There are six colleges under this university:
  • College of Business Administration

  • College of Fine Arts and Communication
  • College of Health and Behavioral Sciences
  • College of Liberal Arts
  • College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics
In addition to courses taught at these colleges, there is a study abroad program. There are also four residential colleges:

The sports teams of the University of Central Arkansas are called the UCA Bears and the Sugar Bears. They participate in football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, golf, cross country and track, and tennis.
