Cabrillo College offers over 80 majors, degrees and certificate programs to its students. These include courses on business, professional and personal development, skills certificates and A. S. degrees. Additionally, distance education programs are also offered for the benefit of remote students. The Cabrillo College team goes by the name Seahawks and there are separate baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball and swimming, diving and water polo teams. The alumni consists of famous personalities like the actress Camryn Manheim, the editor of the San Francisco Chronicle, Ward Bushee and several athletes such as Brendan Ayanbadejo, Obafemi Ayanbadejo and Sherman Cocroft.
