California College of the Arts, popularly referred to as CCA, was established in 1907 by Frederick Meyer. Originally called the School of the California Guild of Arts and Crafts, the institute was renamed the California College of Arts and Crafts in 1936. It finally came to be known by its present name in 2003. The college has two campuses in Oakland and San Francisco, California. California College of the Arts offers bachelor's and master's degrees in subjects including architecture, fine arts, photography, and business administration.
