San Jose City College, or SJCC, a community college which is located in San Jose in Santa Clara County, California, was established in 1921. Initially, SJCC operated in the downtown area of San Jose. The San Jose Unified School District took over the college's operation in 1953, and changed its name to San Jose City College in 1958. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse fields of study.

SJCC's athletics department has various sports teams and their teams are nicknamed the Jagsports. Over the past seven decades, the Jaguar athletes have gone on to become Olympic champions and world record holders.
