What makes AIMT unique
Flexible training program
If you enroll in our day or evening program you can complete
your studies within 7 months of your start date. Students find
we are flexible and accommodating to their needs particularly
when those unexpected problems arise.
Built-in academic and social integration
Our instructors really do have eyes in the back of their heads.
They notice when students are having problems and are quick to
supply remedies. Most everyone agrees that instructors are warm,
caring, and approachable. We want to see our students
successful. Students tend to bond quickly and within a week
generally have formed study groups.
Real-work experience
Our training programs are hands-on throughout. Students have
many opportunities to experience being a massage therapist
throughout their training. Learning strokes occurs within the
first week. Students participate in off-campus projects and
events and gain experience working with the public. They must
complete 80 hours of work in an on-campus clinic.
Built-in job readiness
Learning how to get a job or build your own practice is not just
a single workshop. In almost every class you learn how to get
ready for your first position and your job opportunities. Your
instructors are professional massage therapists. In addition to
formal learning, you learn about the profession from their every
day comments and stories.
A focus on change
We recognize that you enroll in school to make a change in your
life. During training our students report new directions and new
opportunities. The instructors and staff at AIMT create the kind
of environment that effects positive change.

backgrounds. Many were students at AIMT. They understand your
