Study at Berry CollegeThe historical roots of Berry College can be traced back to 1902 when the Boys Industrial School was established. Seven years later, a girl's school was formed. In 1926, a junior college was included. The institute finally became a senior college, and the first batch of students graduated from Berry College in 1932. This four-year liberal arts institute currently sits on a 26, 000 acre campus in Mount Berry, Georgia.
Berry College offers bachelor's degrees in arts, music, and science, and master's degrees in education, and business administration. Dual degree programs and courses in pre-professional studies are also available. Berry College offers the following academic divisions:
The sports teams of Berry College compete in the Southern States Athletic Conference, and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. The mascot for the teams is called the Viking. There are men's and women's teams in baseball, golf, soccer, cross country, tennis, softball, and swimming.
