Piedmont College is a private liberal arts college located in Georgia, United States. It was established in September 1, 1897 as the J. S. Green Collegiate Institute, named in honor of a local banker. The college was formally renamed Piedmont College in 1902. The main campus is spread across an area of 300 acres. The college offers more than 35 undergraduate degree programs and several graduate programs in diverse Course Topics. Piedmont College is organized into the following academic schools:

Piedmont College's athletics department sponsors several men's and women's sports teams. They participate in the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division III and Great South Athletic Conference. The sports teams are nicknamed as the Lions.
