University of Hawaii at Hilo, also known as UH Hilo or UH, is a public, coeducational university located in Hilo, Hawaii, United States. It was established in the year 1941 as Hawaii Vocational College. After a few name and status changes, it adopted its present name in 1970. UH Hilo is part of the university of Hawaii system.
