Study at Boise State University


Boise State University, BSU, is a public university situated near downtown Boise, the capital of Idaho. It was originally founded in 1932 as Boise Junior College by the Episcopal Church. It gained University status in 1974. The main campus of Boise state sits on 175 acres and has more than 170 buildings.

BSU offers more than 200 degrees in over 190 fields of study and enrolls more than 19, 000 students every year. The university comprises eight colleges in different fields which are as follows:

Boise State's sports teams are known as the Broncos. They compete in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and their official mascot is Buster Bronco.
