Richard J. Daley College was founded as the William J. Bogan Junior College in 1960. In 1977, the college was renamed in honor of the late mayor, Richard J. Daley. Also known as the Daley College, the student Enrolment figures are currently more than 4, 000.

Daley College offers associate's degrees and certificate programs in arts and humanities, sciences, business, child development, health services, computer information systems, manufacturing technology, criminal justice, and nursing.
