Study at Indiana University Southeast


Indiana University Southeast, also referred to as IU Southeast, is a regional campus in the Indiana University system located in New Albany, Indiana, United States. It was established in 1941 as The Indiana University Falls City Area Center. In 1968, it was renamed to Indiana University Southeast. The campus of the Institution today stretches over more than 170 acres of suburban land. It grants admission to more than 5, 000 students annually.

The University's sports teams are called the IU Grenadiers. The official mascot is called the Grenadiers. Students participate in basketball, tennis, volleyball, baseball, and softball. The University also has a cheerleading squad and a Red Edition Dance Team.
