Study at Trine University


Tri-State University has been known as Trine University since 1st August, 2008. Originally founded as the Tri-State Normal College in 1884, the main campus of the university is located on 400 acres of land in Angola, Indiana. Classes are also offered in satellite centres in northern Angola, Fort Wayne, South Bend/Mishawaka, and Merrillville, Indiana.

Trine University offers over 30 undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs. Students can choose from courses in the fields of engineering, teacher education, business, mathematics, English, golf management, and criminal justice, among others. The academic divisions of the university include:

The athletics department of Trine University fields teams in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, track, volleyball, and wrestling. Known as the Thunders, the teams are members of the NCAA Division III Conference, and the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
