Fort Hays State University is a public, co-educational university located in Hays, Kansas. It was established in the year 1902. It is the fourth largest of the six state universities governed by the Kansas Board of Regents. FHSU enrolls more than 9, 000 students annually. The main campus of the university is spread across an area of 200 of the 4, 160 acres, owned by the state and deeded to the university
FHSU offers more than 60 academic majors for undergraduates and over 15 for graduates, through four colleges which include:
