Profile of Bellarmine UniversityThe main campus of Bellarmine is in Louisville, KY (a large city). The school is a Roman Catholic institution. Bellarmine is a private, not-for-profit school. The school offers degrees up to the Doctoral degree. Course Topics Bellarmine students most commonly major in a field related to nursing and emergency medicine and therapy and Counselling. Bellarmine Selectivity The school does not accept everyone who applies. In 2007, SAT verbal scores of half of students were 500 to 620. Three-fourths of students accepted in 2007 had SAT math scores of 510 or more. Students attending the school come from a variety of places, in and out of state. FacultyBellarmine offers tenure to reward and retain some professors. Student Enrolment In 2007, the school had 3, 001 enrolled students. Student LifeBellarmine is generally not a school for part-time students. The school makes available a lot of student housing. Meal plans are available. Student athletes at the school belong to the Great Lakes Valley Conference for major sports. Bellarmine takes athletics seriously enough to offer athletic financial aid to a significant portion of its students.
