Study at Midway College

Midway College was established in 1847, and was originally known as the Female Orphan School. Located in Midway, Kentucky, it is only college for women in the State. The sprawling campus of Midway College sits on 200 acres of land. In addition to the Women's College, Midway College also operates the following divisions:

Midway College offers a large number of majors and minors in the fields of English, biology, chemistry, psychology, and equine studies, among others. Several teacher education certifications are also available.

The athletics department of Midway College sponsors a special equestrian team which is known as the Western IHSA Team. The students also participate in other sports including basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. These teams are called the Eagles, and they participate in the KIAC and the NAIA.
