Mount Holyoke College, also known as MHC, was established in 1837, and is a woman's college of liberal arts located in South Hadley, Massachusetts. The campus is spread across an area of 800 acres. The college offers over 45 interdisciplinary majors. A number of certificate programs in International Relations, Cognitive Neuroscience, African Studies, and Eurasian Studies, are also available. Mount Holyoke College's athletics department fields more than 10 sports teams. They compete in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference. The teams are nicknamed the MoHo. They participate in sports including basketball, cross country, golf, field hockey, and soccer.
