The University of Massachusetts Lowell, also known as UMass Lowell or UML, is one of five campuses of the University of Massachusetts. It is located in Lowell, Massachusetts, and is one of the largest universities in the Merrimack Valley. UML has been ranked by the Carnegie Foundation as an intensive doctoral/research university.
