Study at University of Massachusetts Lowell

The University of Massachusetts Lowell, also known as UMass Lowell or UML, is one of five campuses of the University of Massachusetts. It is located in Lowell, Massachusetts, and is one of the largest universities in the Merrimack Valley. UML has been ranked by the Carnegie Foundation as an intensive doctoral/research university. It offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse fields of study. These include:

The athletic teams of UMass Lowell compete in a variety of sports. They are nicknamed the River Hawks.

The admissions department at UMass Lowell does not accept all those who apply. Most students' verbal SAT scores were in the range of 480 to 520 in 2007.
