Founded in 1963, Saginaw Valley State University, or SVSU, is a state university in Michigan. It is located in the middle of Michigan's lower peninsula in the Saginaw Valley region. It is the youngest of Michigan's various public colleges and universities. SVSU offers a wide variety of degrees and programs through its five academic Colleges, which are:
