The sports teams of Truman State University are known as the Bulldogs. The mascot of the university is Spike the Bulldog. Men's teams from TSU participate in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field and wrestling. Women take part in basketball, cross country, golf, softball, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field and volleyball.
