Study at Webster University
Webster University is a private university located in Webster Groves, a
suburb of St. Louis , Missouri, United States. It was founded in 1915 by the
Sisters of Loretto. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in
various disciplines. It enrolls more than 20, 000 students who represent more
than 150 nationalities. Webster University is organized into the following

The athletic teams of Webster University are nicknamed the Websters and their
official mascot is the Gorlok. Some of the notable alumni of the university are

Webster University Selectivity
Prospective students are advised that admissions are not open to all; the school
selects from among qualified applicants. Three quarters of students in 2007 had
SAT verbal scores of at least 530. Half of math SAT scores of accepted students
fell between 500 and 610.
