Montana State University-Great Falls College of Technology, commonly known as MSUGF, was established in 1987 under the Montana University System. In 1994, it became a part of the Montana State University, and the College of Technology for MSU Bozeman. This public postsecondary 2-year educational institute is located in Great Falls, Montana. Montana State University-Great Falls College of Technology offers Associate of Arts, Associate of Applied Science, and Associate of Science degrees. Students can choose from courses in the fields of arts and sciences, business and technology, and health sciences. Distance learning courses are also available. MSUGF sponsors a number of student clubs and organizations. Among them include the Health Occupations Students of America, Phi Theta Kappa- Beta Eta Omicron Chapter, and Student Government. The Montana State University - Great Falls Literary Guild publishes the “MO: Writings from the River” journal every year.
