CUNY Bernard M. Baruch College, or simply Baruch College, is a public university and one of the colleges comprising the City University of New York (CUNY). It was founded in 1919. According to U.S. News & World Report (America s Top Colleges 2007), Baruch ranks among the top 40 universities in the Northeast that offer undergraduate and master s programs.

Baruch College confers a variety of programs and degrees in different fields of study. There are more than 130 undergraduate and over 15 graduate student run clubs/ organizations at Baruch College. It has a student run newspaper known as the Ticker.

The official mascot of Baruch College is the Bearcat.
