Study at CUNY Bronx Community College

Established in 1957, CUNY Bronx Community College is a community college located in the University Heights neighborhood of The Bronx. The campus of BCC is spread over an area of 55 acres, overlooking the Harlem River. The college offers several degrees and programs in various fields of study.

BCC is home to the Hall of Fame, designed by Stanford White, that was established to honor outstanding Americans who have had a noteworthy impact on the country s history. It includes bronze busts of Eli Whitney, Alexander Graham Bell and George Westinghouse.

Many BCC alum have gone on to become famous. One of the most notable of them is Richard Carmona, who served as the Surgeon General of the United States from 2002 to 2006.
