Fashion Institute of Technology was
established in the year 1944. This accredited institution, situated in New York

The Fashion Institute of Technology mascot is the Tiger. The institute offers
recreational programs and intercollegiate athletics programs. The teams
participate in men s and women s volleyball, tennis, cross country and bowling
