Study at Ithaca College

Ithaca College is a private institution of higher education located on the South Hill of Ithaca, New York, United States. It was founded by William Egbert in 1892. The college has been ranked among the top ten master universities in the North by U.S. News & World Report consistently since 1996. The college offers more than 100 degree programs in diverse Course Topics. It is organized into the following academic divisions:

The Ithacan is the official newspaper of the college. The athletic department fields more than 20 varsity teams. Ithaca is a member of the NCAA s Division III, the Empire Eight Conference, and the Eastern College Athletic Conference. Their sports teams are nicknamed the Bombers.

Faculty
Ithaca maintains a faculty/student ratio (full-time) which is better than most colleges. The school has a tenure system for senior faculty. The full-time faculty at Ithaca is well-paid, which often goes with faculty quality.

Student Life
