Study at University of New Haven

The University of New Haven, also known as UNH, is a private, comprehensive, coeducational university located in suburban West Haven, Connecticut. Originally established in 1920 as the New Haven YMCA Junior College, the college offered education in business and engineering to the local students. The institute became independent in 1926, and it gained the university status in 1970. The main campus covers more than 80 acres and the college grants associate s, bachelor s, and master s degrees in more than 100 Course Topics. UNH is organized into the following academic divisions:

UNH’s sports teams are nicknamed the Chargers and the college’s athletics department fields more than 15 sports teams.
