Queens University of Charlotte was established in 1857. The institution was initially known as the Charlotte Female Institute, and was given its present name in the year 2002. It is a private, Presbyterian-affiliated university and is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The campus is spread across an area of more than 30 acres.
