Ohio Dominican University, also known as ODU, is a private, Catholic, liberal arts University located in Columbus, Ohio, United States. It was established in the year 1911 as the College of Saint Mary of the Springs. It spreads across an area of more than 60 acres. ODU offers both undergraduate and post-graduate degree programs in diverse areas.

ODU's athletics department sponsors more than 12 varsity sports teams. Their official mascot is the Panther and their teams are nicknamed the Panthers. The sports teams participate in men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, and women's volleyball. Some notable alumni are Anne O'Hare McCormick, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist; and Jonathan Sanchez, Major League pitcher of San Francisco Giants.
