Study at Southern Nazarene UniversitySouthern Nazarene University, commonly referred to as SNU or So-Naz, is located in Bethany, Oklahoma. Initially, the Texas Holiness University was founded in 1899. It disbanded in 1910 and became the Nazarene institution called the Peniel College. It merged with the Oklahoma Nazarene College in 1920 and became the Bethany-Peniel College. Following some more mergers and name changes, the institute was finally established as the Southern Nazarene University in 1986. It is now a Christian liberal arts university. SNU's recent Enrolments have been more than 1, 500 students. SNU offers undergraduate degrees in over 70 fields, and several associate's and graduate degree programs.
