It was founded in 1925 as a department of Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. It became an independent institution in 1952 and was granted the status of university in 2001. The main campus is spread across an area of 92 acres. The university operates four major campuses. Eastern offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse Course Topics.
