Study at Moravian College and Moravian Theological SeminaryMoravian College and Theological Seminary was established as the Bethlehem Female Seminary by Benigna, Countess von Zinzendorf, in 1742. In 1913, it became the Moravian Seminary and College for Women. The men's Moravian College and Theological Seminary, which was originally founded as two separate boy's schools in the 1740s, merged with the women's institute in 1954 to form the coeducational Moravian College and Theological Seminary. This liberal arts institute is currently located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Moravian College's recent Enrolments have been over 1, 500 undergraduates every year. Moravian College and Theological Seminary offers undergraduate programs of study in the fields of art, biology, biochemistry, economics and business, education, environmental studies, international studies, mathematics and computer science, music, neuroscience, nursing, and women's studies, among others. The sports teams of Moravian College and Theological Seminary are known as the Greyhounds. The teams are members of NCAA Division III, and they participate in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, track and field, field hockey, softball, and volleyball.
