Study at Villanova University

Villanova University is a private university located in Radnor Township, a suburb northwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established in 1842 by the Augustinian monastic order. The campus is spread across an area of 254 acres. The university offers bachelor, master, doctoral, and professional programs through the following academic divisions:

  • College of Engineering
  • College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
  • College of Nursing
  • School of Law
  • Villanova School of Business

Villanova University fields both men’s and women’s teams that participate in various sports. Among these are football, baseball, basketball, golf, lacrosse, cross country running, soccer, swimming and diving, and tennis, track and field. The sports teams are nicknamed the Wildcats.

Faculty

The school maintains a faculty/student ratio (full-time) which is better than most colleges. Villanova has a tenure system for senior faculty. The full-time faculty at the school is well-paid, which often goes with faculty quality.
