The campus is home to WVYC, an FCC licensed college radio station, as well as more than 80 other student clubs and organizations.

York College has an active Greek life, in which 15% of students participate. The college's athletic department fields a wide variety of men's and women's sports teams. Its official mascot is the Spartan.
