The campus of Brown has 238 buildings and covers 143 acres in Providence, the capital of Rhode Island. Brown is comprised of three schools, offering more than 90 programs of study. Each year it enrolls more than 5, 000 students in the Undergraduate College, over 1, 500 in the Graduate School and more than 300 in the Medical School. The students represent all 50 states and many foreign countries. The sports teams of the university are nicknamed the Brown Bears.
