Study at Bob Jones University


Bob Jones University, commonly referred to as BJU, was founded in 1927 by the evangelist Bob Jones, Sr. It is a private, Protestant fundamentalist, liberal arts university located in Greenville, South Carolina. Originally called the Bob Jones College, it moved to its present campus in 1947, where it was granted university status. BJU enrolls over 4, 000 undergraduate and graduate students every year. The campus sits on 225 acres of land.

Bob Jones University offers over 100 undergraduate majors and more than 70 graduate degree programs through the following academic divisions:

BJU does not participate in intercollegiate sports but rather sponsors teams for intramural athletic competitions. There are a large number of men's and women's teams in soccer, basketball, tennis, softball, volleyball, table tennis, and badminton.
