Study at Technical College of The LowcountryThe Technical College of the Lowcountry was originally established as the Mather School in 1868. In 1970, the school was renamed the Beaufort Regional Training Center, which became the Beaufort Technical College 9 years later. It received its current name in 1988. The main campus of TCL is located in Beaufort, South Carolina. The college also operates the Hampton Campus and the New River Campus.
