Study at Carson Newman College

Carson-Newman College was originally founded as the Mossy Creek Missionary Baptist Seminary in the year 1851. It became the Carson College in 1880, and merged with the women's college called Newman College in 1889. This Baptist liberal arts institute sits on a 100-acre campus in Jefferson City, Tennessee. Carson-Newman College's recent Enrolments have been more than 2, 000 students from over 40 States and more than 30 countries worldwide.

Carson-Newman College offers a number of master degrees in Counselling, education, and science in nursing. Post-baccalaureate programs in health services are also available. The college offers the following academic divisions:

The athletics department of Carson-Newman College fields men's and women's teams in volleyball, wrestling, tennis, softball, soccer, golf, basketball, baseball, and cross country. The teams are nicknamed the Eagles.
