Founded in 1912, Tennessee State University, or TSU, is a comprehensive, urban, coeducational land-grant university in the United States. The main campus is spread across an area of 450 acres and consists of more than 65 buildings. TSU offers more than 40 bachelor degree programs and over 20 master degree programs. The university is organized into the following academic divisions:
