College of the Mainland, also referred to as COM, is located in Texas City, Texas. Established in 1966, during the formation of the College of Mainland Junior District, the classes started in 1967. The college offers its students degree and certificate programs in various study areas including nursing, business and science. Fall volleyball league is played by both the male and the female students of the college.
