Study at Shepherd UniversityShepherd University, founded on September, 1871, is a public, co-ed university, located on the banks of the Potomac River, in Shepherdstown. It was formed as Shepherd College but after several name and status changes, it was given its present name in 2004. The main campus is spread across an area of more than 320 acres and the University currently records an Enrolment of more than 4, 200 students annually.
