Individual Attention

You will work one-on-one with an academic adviser to tailor an academic program to your needs and goals. Classes are small, averaging 10 students. Your needs as a student, researcher and individual will be met.

The libraries house more than 1. 5 million volumes, hundreds of research databases, computer access, laptops on loan, a CD and video collection, and library staff who help researchers from around the world.

Rankings and Recognitions

U. S. News and World Report

ranked Marquette University advanced to 85th among the top 100 national universities in America's Best Colleges.

Graduate school rankings from U. S. News and World Report for 2004 gave Marquette top scores. The dispute resolution program ranked 11th; the College of Nursing's graduate programs scored 53rd (placing the college in the top 20 percent of programs around the country) and nursing-midwifery was 13th; the part-time master's in business administration was ranked 11th; and, the School of Education was ranked 57th.

International Student Center

Through the year, the Campus International Center hosts many enjoyable and educational activities including holiday celebrations, potluck dinners, orientation programs and discussions for international and American students interested in cross-cultural dialogue. International Student Advising

The university strives to provide the highest quality of legal and cross-cultural advising for its international students. A special campus international office assists students in maintaining their United States legal status beginning with new student orientation programs and continuing throughout the years to student applications for practical training employment authorization after graduation.

English Language Program

Advanced English language courses are available for the Marquette students who need to learn greater English-speaking skills for greater success in their Marquette programs. Students may take one or more of these courses along with the academic courses in their major fields of study.

University Ministry

Marquette University is located in the city of Milwaukee, in the state of Wisconsin.
