New Mexico International Schools: United World College-USAThe United World College-USA was founded in 1982 in Montezuma, NM through the philanthropy of the late Dr. Armand Hammer and is part of an international movement that now includes eleven two-year pre-university residential program . UWC-USA is one of 12 UWC campuses located on five continents. A two-year residential school, UWC-USA serves students age 16-19 who typically represent more than 70 different countries. They participate in a unique program that combines academic challenge with an experiential, hands-on approach to learning.
